Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that creates controlled micro-injuries to the skin. This treatment initiates the skin’s natural wound repair process resulting in skin texture and tone improvement. Most patients will need 3 to 6 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
Microneedling treats age spots, blackheads, hyper-pigmentation (melasma), acne spots and scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and improves the appearance of dull, “tired-looking” skin. It can be used on the face, neck, décolleté’, arms, hands, legs, abdomen, and neck. Microneedling Treatments
Face Treatment
First, numbing cream is applied to the face, followed by the application of a peptide serum. During the procedure the provider will move a pen-like tool across your face at a consistent rate, which is important for even results. The pen will be making extremely small pin pricks to encourage collagen production during the healing process.

Microneedling with PRP
This procedure is almost identical with the microneedling procedure, except for the addition of PRP. PRP is applied to the skin during the treatment to encourage greater skin rejuvenation effects, beyond what microneedling can achieve on its own. Included is a post care kit that contains a mask to reduce redness, peptide serum, cleanser and moisturizer.
What To Expect
Immediately after treatment, your face will feel tight and look red, similar to sunburn. Most of the redness will dissipate after one day, but may take up to three days to fully clear. It is recommended to apply cleanser and moisturizer to nourish the skin during this time. Three to five days post treatment it is possible for your skin to startpeeling or flaking. Results typically take around two weeks, but may take up to four to be fully realized.
